One of the best spring destinations on the planet is in Massachusetts, according to Conde Nast Traveler.

The publication released a list of the best places to travel worldwide in May and included the 14-mile-long island of Nantucket, a National Historic Landmark full of beautiful beaches, cobblestone streets, quaint boutiques, and seaside restaurants.

“So much more than just a summer town, Nantucket is a beauty in every season,” wrote the publication. “But there are a few perks to visiting in May—namely, beating the summer influx of tourists.”

Here’s what Conde Nast Traveler wrote, in part, about Nantucket:

When you aren’t out enjoying some fresh sea breezes, you better be eating seafood. Try the oysters at Cru (open for the season in May) or Atlantic halibut at upscale Dune for some unforgettable meals. For perfect pairings, align your visit with the Nantucket Wine Festival, a four-day event taking place from May 15-19 this year. And to wind down at the end of a busy day, you can’t do much better than The Wauwinet. The five-star hotel (and past Condé Nast Traveler Gold List winner) is tucked away on the far northeastern side of the island, meaning the only strangers you’ll run into are fellow guests and friendly staff members.
