“The Who’s Tommy”

An exciting and electrifying revival of “The Who’s Tommy” is now in previews at The Nederlander Theatre. Based on The Who’s rock concept album, the musical centers on pinball wizard Tommy Walker. Original 1993 “Tommy” Director Des McAnuff returns to the musical to helm the revival. Opening night is set for March 28.

Alan Cumming

On Monday night and on March 25 - Tony and Emmy Award-winner Alan Cumming is back at his Broadway home at Studio 54 with his new solo show “Alan Cumming Is Not Acting His Age.” Expect Cumming to cover topics ranging from sex to death. “Teeth”

On the off-Broadway front, Tony Award-winner Michael R. Jackson’s latest musical “Teeth” is now playing at Playwrights Horizons.  In the show, audiences will be introduced to Dawn O’Keefe, played by Alyse Alan Louis, an evangelical Christian with a secret. “The Effect”

Lucy Prebble, executive producer and writer for “Succession,” is back on the New York boards with her critically acclaimed play, “The Effect.” Directed by celebrated director Jamie Lloyd, “The Effect” shines a spotlight on Connie and Tristan who participate in a clinical drug trial, which makes them begin to fall in love. Ryan Raftery

And finally, downtown theater artist Ryan Raftery is back at his home away from home, Joe’s Pub with the “Titans Of Media Trilogy Of Female Empowerment.” Catch Raftery on multiple nights taking on Anna Wintour, Martha Stewart and Kris Jenner in his original musicals about these headline making icons.
