🚨Warning: There are MASSIVE spoilers ahead for Hawkeye Episode 1 and Episode 2 on Disney+!🚨
Hi, hello, and welcome back to these chaotic Marvel posts where I try to break down everything I spotted. So, here are all the details I noticed in Hawkeye Episode 1 and Episode 2:

1. First, as Kate looks out at the Battle of New York — y'all this was such an epic way to start this series — you can see Stark Tower right in front of her. Of course, the "R" has already been knocked down.
2. When Kate spots Hawkeye fighting on top of a building, we actually saw this exact moment in The Avengers. In fact, Clint running and jumping off the building is reused footage from that movie.
3. Kate's dad ends up dying during the Battle of New York, which is different than what happens in the Marvel comics. In the comics, Eleanor Bishop is the one who dies, but we later find out she's actually alive and has been working against Kate.
4. The Hawkeye opening credits are a nod to the Matt Fraction and David Aja Hawkeye comic books. The series is based a lot on those comics too.
5. When Kate is running to a building on campus, you can spot a plaque reading "Stane Tower," which is a nod to Obadiah Stane, Tony Stark's business partner from Iron Man.
6. One of Kate's friends is named Greer, which might be related to the comic book character Greer Grant, aka Tigra.
7. During Rogers: The Musical, you can see a cutout of Loki riding on a Chitauri craft, which we also saw in The Avengers.
8. Hawkeye finally addresses Clint wearing a hearing aid and his hearing loss, which is something taken directly from the Marvel comics.
9. Clint offhandedly mentions that the musical wrongly put Ant-Man at the Battle of New York, but actually, in Avengers: Endgame, Ant-Man went back to 2012 with the team, so now he actually was there.
10. If you were listening to the lyrics, you probably caught this, but I absolutely lost it when Rogers: The Musical mentioned shawarma, which is a nod to the iconic The Avengers post-credits scene.
11. Just like in Avengers: Age of Ultron, you can see that the clock at the top of Grand Central features a statue honoring the Battle of New York.
12. I don't know if this was intentional or not, but we get a closeup of a lucky cat figure, which is something Bucky was fascinated by in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier.
13. Armand Duquesne III is a character taken directly from the Marvel comics. While he's Jack's uncle in Hawkeye, in the comics he's Jack's dad and the person who first gives him a sword.
14. Jack Duquesne's obsession with swords — and his need to buy the Ronin blade — is a nod to his comic book origins. In the Marvel comics, Jack is Swordsman, a villain from Clint's past.
15. Now, the watch from the Avengers Compound becomes very important in these first two episodes. Right now, I'm thinking it was either Tony or Howard Stark's watch and is somehow very important.
16. Also, "268 "doesn't have any direct Hawkeye significance, but Avengers Issue #268 features Kang in his time palace, which is very similar to what we saw in the Loki Season 1 finale.
17. When Kate escapes with Lucky while wearing the Ronan hood, we see one assailant's face, and his name is Kazi. This could be a nod to Kazimierz Kazimierczak from the comics.
18. Kate feeding Lucky a slice of pizza is an absolutely perfect nod to the Marvel comics. Lucky, aka Pizza Dog, was first introduced in Matt Fraction and David Aja's Hawkeye comics as Kate and Clint's dog.
19. This isn't really a hidden detail, but Kate's apartment looks exactly like Clint's apartment from the 2012 Hawkeye comics series, right down to the archery practice equipment.
20. Clint tells Kate that the group of guys after her are known as the Tracksuit Mafia, who are pulled directly from the 2012 Hawkeye comics.
21. Kate takes Clint to hide at her aunt's place, and when she's looking for the buzzer, we see the name "Moira Brandon," which is a huge Marvel Easter egg.
22. On the wall of Moira's apartment, you can spot a poster for Creature of the Dark Galaxy, a movie she starred in. This means the show has kept Moira's backstory from the comics too.
23. When Clint patches up Kate's head wound, the moment mirrors when Natasha did the same for Yelena in Black Widow.
24. Detective Caudle calls Kate and wants to know where she was when her apartment caught fire, and he asks her to come in and talk. In the comics, Caudle is also a detective who Kate Bishop goes to for help.
25. When Clint attends the LARPing event in order to retrieve Ronin's suit, it's being worn by a man named Grills. In the 2012 Hawkeye comics, Grills is the name of Clint's neighbor and one of his closest friends.
26. Clint mentions to Laura how he's going to do a "catch release" with the Tracksuit Mafia, and Laura says how it's one of Nat's old moves. We saw Natasha do this exact move in The Avengers.
27. Kate's username for her Bishop Security login features "2012," which is likely a nod to the 2012 Hawkeye comic book series by Matt Fraction and David Aja.
28. And finally, we are introduced to Maya Lopez, aka Echo, at the very end of Episode 2, and I am so excited I could cry.
