The Glastonbury Festival is well underway now, with more than 200,000 music fans set to visit Worthy Farm this weekend. Aside from the amazing music, the festival is well-known for its quirky revellers, their banners, flags and other political messages - and we may have an early contender for the best banner of the week.

A banner referring to the government's 'Partygate' scandal was spotted at Glastonbury this afternoon. A Twitter post shared by @jane_molyneaux at 2.20pm reads: "I’m calling it early: The BEST Banner at @wetlegband @glastonbury."

The sign simply says: 'WORK EVENT'. It seems to be taunting Boris Johnson after he insisted a Downing Street lockdown gathering was a work event and 'nobody told him' it was a party.

The Prime Minister denied an allegation by former chief adviser Dominic Cummings that he intentionally misled MPs after being told the May 2020 'summer party' would breach coronavirus restrictions. The 'Partygate' allegations rocked Boris Johnson's administration and left the PM fighting for his position.
