This low-cost carrier will begin seasonal flights at Logan Airport this spring
Passengers can soon fly Allegiant Air from Logan to four U.S. destinations.
Low-cost Allegiant Air will begin servicing Logan International Airport this spring as part of what the airline is calling its “largest service expansion in company history.”

The Las Vegas-based airline announced last month plans to add 44 nonstop routes, including 14 routes to three new cities: Boston, Chicago, and Houston.
“There is a lot of leisure demand for cities that are regional destinations, and this route expansion will address some of that need,” said Drew Wells, Allegiant vice president of planning and revenue, in a press release. “Also, this growth is about Allegiant being true to our mission as a company. We’re increasing the number of low-cost, affordable travel options for people who may otherwise be priced out of air travel.”
Here’s a list of Allegiant’s new seasonal destinations from Logan and when they will begin:
- Grand Rapids, Mich. at Gerald R. Ford Airport, beginning May 7
- Asheville, N.C., at Asheville Regional Airport, beginning May 8
- Knoxville, Tenn., at McGhee Tyson Airport, beginning May 8
- Destin/Ft. Walton Beach, Fla., at Destin-Fort Walton Beach Airport, beginning May 14
The new nonstop routes will operate twice weekly, according to the airline.
