Men's March Madness: In under a week, the hopes of 68 teams turned into the dreams of 16

We will have to wait another year for a 16-seed to make it out of the NCAA tournament's first weekend after Fairleigh Dickinson fell to FAU, but we enter the Sweet 16 with a perfect mix of favorites and surprises.

Wearing Cinderella's glass slipper will be 15-seed Princeton, which beat Arizona and Missouri en route to the Sweet 16 -- the third straight year a 15-seed has advanced to the tournament's second weekend. While 8-seed Arkansas and 9-seed Florida Atlantic aren't quite in the same category, the Razorbacks upset 1-seed Kansas and FAU is the second-lowest seed still alive.

Meanwhile, the top seven teams in ESPN's BPI rankings all are still playing, giving us plenty of favorites. Are Alabama and Houston still on a collision course in the title game? -- Jeff Borzello
