Gutter service firm expands with third Long Island franchise

The Brothers that just do Gutters, a company that provides gutter cleaning, repair and installation, has expanded with its third Long Island franchise. 

The company’s newest location is in Smithtown, following others in Merrick and Huntington. 

The new Smithtown franchise is owned and operated by Kevin Gormley, a former law enforcement officer, who will serve the Smithtown, Commack and East Northport communities. 

“I am thrilled to join The Brothers Gutters family and bring our exceptional services to Smithtown and the surrounding areas,” Gormley said in a company statement. “Our focus on customer service, craftsmanship, and strong work ethic will ensure that our clients receive the best possible experience.” 

Founded in 1999 by former teacher Ken Parsons, the gutter contracting company was originally known as Waterfall Seamless Gutters. A few years later, Parsons was joined by his brother Ryan and in 2009 the brothers renamed the company The Brothers that just do Gutters. 

The all-in cost to open a Brothers that just do Gutters franchise ranges from $143,750 to $205,000.
