The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Friday, April 5, reveal that Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will cross paths with Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and find a sympathetic ear. Nick won’t want to pry, but he may sense that Lily’s upset and wonder if there’s any way he can help.
Lily might open up about Daniel Romalotti Jr’s (Michael Graziadei) betrayal with Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom) and the fact that she fired them both.
Nick surely won’t judge Lily for that decision and may get that keeping the cheaters around would’ve made things complicated in the workplace.
Of course, Lily might acknowledge that her choice has created issues with Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) – not to mention it leaves a gaping hole to fill in the gaming division.
Since it’s well-known that Nick’s a fan of videogames and has corporate experience, could Lily offer him Daniel’s old job running Omega Sphere?
Lily could at least propose the idea and give Nick a chance to mull it over.
Whatever the case, Lily and Nick will spend some time catching up on Friday’s Y&R episode, so that’ll bring some nice bonding moments.
It could be a sign that maybe the show’s pushing Nick and Lily down a romantic road.
Meanwhile, it looks like Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) and Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will make it back to Genoa City after getting Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) settled in his residential treatment center.
It’ll be hard for Adam and Chelsea to leave Connor struggling in Maryland, but they’ll just have to trust the professionals and give him space to learn how to cope with his OCD.
Once Billy reconnects with Chelsea, he’ll make a vow to her.
No matter how much drama plays out at Chancellor-Winters, Billy may promise that supporting Chelsea and Connor will always be his priority.
As for Adam, he’ll confide in Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) as he deals with everything Connor’s going through.
Sally will once again have some helpful advice, so she’ll steer Adam down a positive path.
Our predictions point to Adam falling even more in love with Sally since she’s being so patient and kind, so he may have marriage on his mind down the road.
