General Hospital Recap: Wednesday, April 3 – Maxie Wants The Real Nina Back, Mrs. Sonny Corinthos Must Go

General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Wednesday, April 3, reveals that Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) stopped by Crimson to clear the air with Nina Corinthos (Cynthia Watros).

Although Kristina wasn’t OK with what Nina did to Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison), she understood that maybe it was an impulsive decision that got out of hand.

Kristina also felt that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) missed Nina whether he was willing to admit it or not.

In Kristina’s opinion, that was why lonely Sonny was keeping Ava Jerome (Maura West) around the penthouse.

Since Kristina was sporting a baby bump now, she explained the surrogacy situation and got Nina’s praise for her generous gift.

When Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) brought Blaze aka Allison Rogers (Jacqueline Grace Lopez) in for a meeting with Nina, Blaze blew right past Kristina and didn’t acknowledge her.

Nina remembered Blaze from their time in Puerto Rico for the wedding, so she assumed Blaze remembered Kristina, too.

Blaze confirmed that she did, but Kristina seemed offended over Blaze not admitting their romance.

Maxie gushed about Blaze’s new modeling contract, so Kristina said she could really see Blaze as the face of Deception and took off.

After Blaze left as well, Nina talked to Maxie about Kristina’s surrogacy and wondered if she should send something to congratulate Sonny.

Maxie acted like that was desperate and felt that Nina should accept the end of her marriage.

Nina pointed out that she hadn’t signed the divorce papers and hinted about Ava being her secret weapon to help her fix things with Sonny.

Maxie didn’t think Ava could be trusted to act in Nina’s best interests.

Furthermore, Maxie didn’t like Nina as Sonny’s wife and had felt that way all along. Mrs. Corinthos erased the version of Nina that Maxie knew – and she missed her Nina.

Meanwhile, Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) showed up dressed in overalls to help Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) clean the Quartermaine stables.

After some bonding time, Sasha reminded Cody that he could have a family if he’d tell Mac Scorpio (John J. York) the truth, but Cody acted like he was doing just fine with the horses.

Cody wondered if he made himself sound like too much of a loner, but Sasha knew him better than that.

Even so, Sasha acknowledged that Cody was aloof at times, so he made it clear that he was keeping his obvious romantic interest at bay.

At GH, Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) and Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) checked on Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna), who was getting stronger and had been walking around again.

Chase and Brook Lynn admitted they were downsizing their wedding to a small civil ceremony at the courthouse, but Chase still wanted Dante to be a groomsman and got his approval on the idea.

Afterward, Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) kept checking her phone for updates on Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) and whether he was ditching classes since she’d been in touch with his school.

Sam admitted there wasn’t any bad news so far, but she was still worried about Danny’s troubling decisions lately.

Of course, Sam also ranted about Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) pushing Danny to lie.

Since Sam had never felt so betrayed, she questioned if Jason was different now or if she was just finally seeing him clearly for the first time.

At one point, Stella Henry (Vernee Watson) popped in and asked how Dante would feel about going home today, so he was excited along with Sam.

Kristina also paid Dante a visit, so she urged him to spend some extra time with Sonny since he’d been so worried and guilt-ridden over what happened.

Kristina acknowledged that it was weird for Ava to still be living at the penthouse – and later, Dante admitted to Sam that he thought it was weird, too.

The conversation shifted back to Sam’s concerns about Danny since she knew he would try to see Jason again.

Dante hinted about the possibility of a compromise, but Sam argued that being anywhere near Jason was dangerous.

Elsewhere at the hospital, Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) caught up with Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison) ahead of his doctor’s appointment.

Tracy was there for some blood work as part of her annual wellness check.

Once Gregory went to an exam room with Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst), he confessed that he wanted to keep some parts of his life separate.

Liz realized Gregory was asking her to back off his medical case, so she understood and respected his wishes.

Once Gregory met with Dr. Cramer, he asked for the doc’s opinion on whether he’d still be walking and talking well enough to officiate the wedding in a month.

Dr. Cramer thought that seemed like a safe bet, so Gregory was relieved.

Gregory also made sure Dr. Cramer knew that he shouldn’t give his family information on his medical condition.

Afterward, Gregory crossed paths with Tracy again and turned down her coffee invitation since he had more to do for his medical appointment. Tracy and Gregory still flirted a bit before they parted ways.

Tracy ended up running into Stella instead, so they did some bonding and made plans for a game of backgammon soon.

In Hamilton Finn’s (Michael Easton) office, Liz acknowledged that Gregory politely told her that she was overstepping.

Finn realized Gregory felt that way about everyone close to him, but he felt useless since he couldn’t really help his father.

Liz was feeling that way with Jake Webber (Hudson West) lately as well, so she commiserated with Finn and expressed gratitude for the communication in their relationship.

Next, Chase and Brook Lynn arrived seeking help to save their wedding.

Although Brook Lynn and Chase previously decided to downsize, they wanted to go back to their original plan now that it looked like things would work out with Gregory and Dante.

Once Liz and Finn pledged their support, Finn called Dr. Cramer and got stonewalled on Gregory’s medical information.

Gregory later approached Finn to coldly point out that any info would have to come through him.

Back with Brook Lynn, she assured Chase that she was fine with his affordable Palm Beach honeymoon plan and that it’d be perfect since she’d be Mrs. Harrison Chase.

Once Brook Lynn walked off, Chase said he could do better than perfect and looked a bit mischievous!

Based on our predictions and other General Hospital spoilers, Chase is going to blow Brook Lynn away with an amazing honeymoon surprise.
