If there’s going to be a thaw in Michael and Sonny’s relationship, it may take something huge to shift Sonny’s perspective.
GH fans know Sonny was an emotional wreck when it looked like Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) might not survive.

Selina is always going to be a wildcard who can’t be trusted, so her actions could cause trouble for Sonny’s family eventually.
Then again, Valentin’s scheme to mess with Sonny’s bipolar meds could have unanticipated consequences.
What if Sonny does something dangerous and puts Michael at risk himself?
There might be some scenario where Michael tries to intervene and help Sonny – only to end up getting seriously injured somehow.
Valentin expects Sonny to go off the rails due to all the medication meddling and land in prison for criminal behavior.
Sonny might do something criminal to hurt Michael without even meaning to.
On the other hand, Sonny might go after revenge on someone else who’s responsible instead and land in a jail cell another way entirely!
Regardless, Michael could be next up for a medical emergency if the show wants to pull plenty of characters into the drama.
Carly Spencer (Laura Wright), Jason Morgan (Steve Burton), Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy), Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) and plenty of others would all have strong feelings about Michael’s ordeal.
Whatever the case, Sonny could get a reason to forgive Michael if he winds up in a fight for his life.
It could also give Sonny another reason to feel guilty if he blames himself on some level.
