Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that Tate Black (Leo Howard) could decide to take matters into his own hands when it comes to Theresa Donovan’s (Emily O’Brien) love life. This could result in some parent-trapping, so let’s talk about Tate’s situation.
There was a time when Tate hated spending time with both parents since they couldn’t be in the same room without fighting.
DOOL fans know Theresa and Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) have come a long way since then, so Tate clearly has very different feelings when it comes to family now.
After Theresa told Tate about her breakup from Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson), he hoped they worked things out since he didn’t like the idea of his mom being alone.
However, Tate didn’t give Alex a very warm reception when he ran into him in the park following his release.
It doesn’t seem like Tate likes Alex much, so he might pick another romantic partner for Theresa soon.
Now that Theresa has moved out of the townhouse, Brady is bound to start missing her. In Days’ April 4 episode, Brady tried to convince Theresa to stay and even invited her to sleep in his bed.
Although Brady just meant that he would take the sofa, it still brought some cute yet awkward moments as he tried to navigate things with his ex.
Once Theresa left anyway, it seemed like Brady was trying to talk himself out of wanting her back.
Brady warned himself not to go there as he looked at a family photo that featured Theresa, so a potential reunion is obviously on his mind.
Days spoilers say it may not be long until Tate picks up on Brady’s true desires, so that could lead to him sabotaging Theresa’s reunion with Alex – or at least trying to!
Tate could attempt to play matchmaker for Brady and Theresa instead if he feels like his parents have matured enough for a healthy romance.
There’s no denying that Tate’s crisis brought his family together, so he may decide he wants to build on that even more.
Of course, there’s no guarantee Tate’s potential plan will work, especially since Theresa is facing Konstantin Meleounis’ (John Kapelos) pressure to lock in a future with Alex.
Our Days predictions point to Theresa and Alex’s wedding happening down the road, but Tate may try to push his parents toward each other in the meantime.
