The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Thursday, April 4, reveals that Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) admitted she felt the same way as Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) about John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) attending the memorial, but it was Finn’s decision to make.
Steffy asked if she was supposed to forbid Finn from going and pointed out she didn’t want to add to the tension.
After Steffy said she didn’t want to think about Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) anymore, Liam insisted she didn’t have to since Sheila had taken her last breath.
Steffy said if they could just get through today, they could get on with their lives.
Liam eventually admitted that Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) was attending the memorial, so Steffy was surprised that she’d even want to be there.
Once Liam clarified that Hope went to support Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan), he basically mocked Hope’s dad for being broken up over losing Sheila.
At Il Giardino, Finn thought it was sad that only three of them came to the service, so Hope acknowledged that Sheila had more enemies than friends.
After Hope said she was surprised Steffy let Finn come, Deacon kicked off the service.
Once Deacon opened up about the flame that ignited in his relationship with Sheila, he talked about how she somehow brought out the best in him.
Deacon thought Sheila was turning her life around up until that night at the cliff house.
Now Deacon was left with questions and a hole in his heat, but he knew he had to figure out a way to say goodbye and let go.
Next on Thursday’s B&B episode, Finn stood up to talk – though he wasn’t sure what to say.
After Finn reflected on Sheila showing up on his wedding day and introducing herself as his birth mother, he confessed that it was one of his happiest moments.
However, Sheila ultimately turned Finn’s world upside down and nearly took his life along with Steffy’s.
Finn didn’t even know what he was doing at the memorial since he had no reason to feel anything for Sheila.
“But I do, Mom. I do,” Finn said as he gazed at Sheila’s casket.
Afterward, Deacon guessed this was it and called Sheila “babe” as he admitted he didn’t know how to say goodbye.
Deacon hoped Sheila had found peace and felt that they’d be together again someday.
At the Forrester mansion, Lauren Fenmore Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman) paid Eric Forrester (John McCook) a visit after all his health struggles and was glad to see him doing so well.
Donna Logan (Jennifer Gareis) was glad to see Lauren and catch up with her, too.
Lauren said there was another reason she stopped by since Sheila was gone for good.
Although Lauren knew the whole ordeal must’ve been tough on Steffy, she was relieved the Sheila saga was finally over.
After Lauren got updates on the news of Deacon’s memorial for Sheila, she couldn’t imagine who on earth would have anything nice to say about her.
As Lauren reflected on Sheila’s horrible history, there were some flashbacks of Sheila causing chaos over the years.
Eric also remembered when he first met Sheila and became so enchanted with her, but now he regretted bringing her into all their lives.
Lauren insisted the important thing was that Sheila was no longer a threat to any of them, so she said good riddance to Sheila.
Eric took a softer approach and said so long before hoping Sheila could finally be at peace.
Back with Steffy, she also said goodbye and good riddance to Sheila as she continued her talk with Liam.
Finally, Deacon said goodbye to his love and walked away from the casket. Hope and Finn stood there looking at Sheila’s nearby picture as Thursday’s episode wrapped up.
