A new round of monkeypox vaccine appointments is opening up in Orange County.

Starting Thursday, appointments for the Jynneos vaccine can be booked between 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, Florida Department of Health in Orange County spokesperson Kent Donahue said Wednesday.

Appointments can be made at orange.floridahealth.gov.

Vaccination appointments are available only to men who have sex with men, known contacts of people with monkeypox, and laboratory or health care workers who test or respond to monkeypox, according to DOH Orange’s website.

Donahue urged people to nab a spot as soon as possible.

“With the current demand for appointments, the appointment slots might go fast,” he said.
