Tell us: What’s the best marijuana dispensary in Massachusetts?

We want to know what you love about your neighborhood pot shop.

In the six years since the first adult-use marijuana dispensaries opened in the Bay State, the cannabis industry has gone from a fledgling sector to a powerhouse.

Since the laws around recreational marijuana have changed, so too has public opinion. Earlier this week, Gov. Maura Healey got approval to issue pardons for tens of thousands of people convicted of misdemeanor marijuana charges going back as far as the 1970’s. In a recent poll, Boston.com readers largely supported the move.

“It is ridiculous that people are still locked up for something you can now buy in stores that are in most towns,” said one reader.

There are now hundreds of dispensaries across the state, bringing an excess of $1.56 billion in gross sales in 2023, according to the Cannabis Control Commission — a record high. And for those that indulge, it’s still a buyer’s market, with record low prices for cannabis flower and other products.

With new dispensaries opening every year and industry stalwarts evolving to meet rising demand, we want to know which marijuana shops you think stand out among the bunch.

Last year, readers shared more than 100 of their favorite dispensaries with us, and Bud’s Goods & Provisions came out on top, edging out Triple M Dispensary, which had taken the number one spot for two years in a row.

Also among last year’s top five were Western Front, Garden Remedies, Reverie 73, NETA

“Bud’s Goods is a little guy with a big future. They’re not some giant, out-of-state conglomerate. They are hometown buds. Their prices are amazing and their selections are amazing,” said Sheri from Roslindale.
