Colorado Pint Day is a time-honored tradition that has reached cult-level status, with beer lovers flocking to participating breweries every year to purchase Colorado Pint Day limited edition glassware. “Welcoming Spring’s Migrating Birds” talk: 8:30 a.m. Wednesday, Lagerman Agricultural Preserve, 7100 Pike Road, Longmont. Join volunteer naturalists on a birdwatching experience along Lagerman Reservoir in search of early spring migrating birds, including waterfowl, shorebirds and songbirds. Learn about the amazing endeavor that is migration and how these mighty flyers can make the treacherous journey that is often miles and miles long. Free, boco.org.

Procrastiknitting Teen Fiber Club: 6 p.m. Wednesday, Library, 409 Fourth Ave., Longmont. Sixth through 12th graders that enjoy knitting, crocheting, weaving, stitching or other fiber arts can join the Procrastiknitting Teen Fiber Club to create and hang out with other teens. The club will meet on the second and fourth Wednesdays of every month. Friday afternoon concert with James Hoskins and Victor Mestas: 2:30 p.m. Friday, Longmont Museum, 400 Quail Road, Longmont. Cellist James Hoskins and pianist Victor Mestas have been improvising together for many years.
