My heart breaks for editor Jack F.K. Bungart and the Vallejo Times-Herald for the death of Richard Freedman.
My personal memory is about the story he did on the hummingbird feeders, July 15, 2021. He and Chris Riley came to my mobile home. He was on it, with all the nuances! He asked if he could take my folder with all my notes and letters and return it later. Of course, it was back on my porch the next day.
I always loved his wit. He was the best to read. Richard has a lot of friends in Benicia.
