? THREE TO SEE

A trio of highlights selected by Orlando Sentinel entertainment writers Matthew J. Palm and Patrick Connolly.

THE WAR ON DRUGS: Touring in support of the band’s fifth album, The War On Drugs will stop at the House of Blues in Orlando this fall. The Philadelphia-based indie rock band’s latest release, “I Don’t Live Here Anymore,” takes an introspective look at fatherhood and human connection while at times infusing soaring vocals, synths and Springsteen-esque Americana. The album was met with critical acclaim after its release last year. Catch the rockers at the House of Blues on Oct. 4. More information: thewarondrugs.net

BEN PLATT: He’s best known as the original star of Broadway’s “Dear Evan Hansen,” which won him a Tony Award and the chance to star in the film adaptation. He’s also a singer-songwriter, though, with a couple of albums under his belt. Platt’s tour, delayed by COVID-19, finally reaches Orlando’s Amway Center on Oct. 6 with guests Aly & AJ. Trevor Noah speaks at the annual White House Correspondents' Association dinner, Saturday, April 30, 2022, in Washington.

TREVOR NOAH: Born in South Africa, Trevor Noah became known to American audiences in 2014 when he became a correspondent on Comedy Central’s “The Daily Show.” The following year he took over as host and has been bringing his snark and wit into viewers’ home since. His “Back to Abnormal” world tour stops at the Amway Center on Oct. 15. More information: trevornoah.com
