Boulder police said Saturday that they arrested a man earlier in the week who was carrying 82.5 grams of methamphetamine, suspected fentanyl pills and nearly $2,000, according to a post on the social media site X.

The man’s name was not immediately available.

The man was riding an e-bike near Old Tale Road and Arapahoe Avenue when two officers saw him, according to the social media post. The officers knew that there were active warrants for the man’s arrest and tried to speak to him, but he left. The officers managed to form a perimeter around the area and took the man into custody, according to the social media post.

The police took the man to jail and booked him on charges of drug distribution, obstruction and failure to appear arrest warrants.
