At a sold-out show Saturday evening at SoFi Stadium, The Weeknd lost his voice and had to cancel the rest of the performance.
Just a song or two into the concert, The Weeknd stopped the show to apologize profusely and explain to the audience that he had lost his voice. Video shows him saying, “I can’t give you the concert I want to give you right now.”
He said he would make sure everyone got their money back and promised to do a return show “real soon.”
On Friday night, The Weeknd performed for a sold-out crowd at SoFi.
A tweet from 102.7 KIIS FM posted the video and said, “#TheWeeknd loses his voice at the start of his 2nd #AfterHoursTilDawnTour in LA … We hope he has a speedy recovery.”
