“Fuller House” producer and Netflix star David A. Arnold died at the age of 54 of natural causes, Thursday.
The longtime comedian and actor left a huge footprint in the entertainment industry and is being remembered for his incredible achievements, according to TMZ. “It is with great sadness that we confirm the untimely passing of our husband, father, brother and friend, David A. Arnold,” his family said in a statement given to the outlet.

“David passed away peacefully today in his home and doctors have ruled the cause of death due to natural causes. Please keep our family in prayer and respect our privacy at this time as we are all shocked and devastated by this loss,” his family wrote in the statement.
Arnold’s long-time friend Chris Spencer paid respect by honoring the late actor’s memory and recognizing the impact of Arnold’s influence. “Our closely knit comedy community mourns the loss of one of the greatest to ever do it,” Spencer said, according to TMZ. “He was admired by his peers, respected by other veterans, and revered by the burgeoning comedians that he mentored. He will be deeply missed, especially by his comedy fraternity,” Spencer wrote.
Arnold is credited for his work as the writer and producer of “Fuller House,” “Bigger,” and for being the creator of Nickelodeon’s “That Girl Lay Lay,” according to TMZ. His most recent release was “It Ain’t For The Weak,” which was released to Netflix just 2 months before his passing.
Arnold is survived by his wife and two daughters, according to the outlet.
