Creative Nations Sacred Space opens at Dairy: The arts center is launching a permanent, dedicated space for Indigenous artists and will open it with a Friday reception that will feature a traditional blessing from Harvey Spoonhunter. The Sacred Space will open with the exhibit “Homelands” — works by Arapahoe, Cheyenne and Ute artists — that is guest curated by Robert Martinez and Bruce Cook (who will give a live art demonstration). Creative Nations, a collective of Indigenous artists, was formed over the pandemic with goals to provide accurate representation of Native arts in Colorado and to create opportunities and resources for emerging artists and youth; “Homelands” is on display through Nov. 26; 6-8 p.m. Friday; 2590 Walnut St., Boulder; thedairy.org.

Firefly Handmade Fall Market: This artisan fair brings all the local goods — alongside more than 80 curated vendors offering handmade, and ethically sourced products — to the Downtown Boulder Fall Fest this weekend.
