Thirty-five Boulder Valley and St. Vrain Valley students have been named National Merit Scholarship semifinalists.

From Boulder High: Sebastian James, Zachary Larter, Kai Parker and Ian Soledade.

From Broomfield High: Avery Jones.

From Centaurus High: Allison Martin.

From Fairview High: Olivia Anderson, Pavan Gudavalli, Kevin Huang, Isabel Hunt, Pranav Kadekodi, Daniel Lin, Angelina Mackay, Elliot Pavillard-Pitts, Natalie Pujet, Sebastian Pujet, Edith Simecek, Jack Smith, Henry Westfall and Miles Zheng.

From Mead High: Kyra Haan, Maggie McMillan and Wren Pritchett.

From Monarch High: Yasmin Felfli, Max Luo and Eliza Maxfield.

From Niwot High: Henry Stauch, Marguerite Stokes and Angela Wu.

From Peak to Peak Charter: Alexandra Flint and Aneesh Movva.

From Silver Creek High: Grant Gaddis, Allie Hartman, Ashish Karipalli and Luke Xu.

These high school seniors will have an opportunity to continue in the competition for some 7,250 National Merit Scholarships worth nearly $28 million. Semifinalists must fulfill several requirements to advance to the finalist level of the competition.
