Black River Audubon Society to hear talk on dung beetles

Black River Audubon Society presents Nicole Gunter and her program “Do Dung Beetles Feed on Bird Droppings?” at 7 p.m., Oct. 4, at Sandy Ridge Reservation Visitor Center, 6195 Otten Road in North Ridgeville.

Gunter is the curator of Invertebrate Zoology at the Cleveland Museum of Natural History. Her program will explore the origin of dung feeding, and food preferences of Ohio and Australian dung beetles, according to a news release.
