The City of Vacaville will host a Fair Housing Poster Contest for kids in grades 1st-8th, challenging them to “draw an original poster showing an example of what Fair Housing means to you,” according to a release from the city on Thursday.

Students are asked to use 8.5″x11″ poster board or poster paper, and entries will be accepted until April 30 through the mail or at the City of Vacaville Housing & Community Services Department, 40 Eldridge Ave., Suite 2, Vacaville CA 95688.

The grand prize winner will be awarded $100 and will be honored at a May City Council Meeting.

“*Prizes will be awarded in three different age groups,” the release reads. “The Grand Prize-winning artist will receive $100 and will be showcased at the May’s City Council meeting. Additionally, first Prizes ($75), second prizes ($50) and third Prizes ($25) will be awarded to the winning entries from 1st-3rd grade, 4th-5th grade, and 6th-8th grade.
