Force use strong opening period to take Game 1 over Tri-City

FARGO (KVRR) – The Fargo Force used a strong opening period against the Tri-City Storm to take Game 1 3-1. The Force outshot the Storm 40-24 as the offense was unrelenting throughout the whole game.

The Force were led by Michael La Starza who dropped in two power play goals. While Zam Plante scored the first goal of the night and Hampton Slukynsky chipped in 23 saves.

The Force now prepare for Game 2 against Tri-City at the Scheels Arena on Monday at 7:05 p.m.
