The 2024 NFL Draft is just days away and there is a palpable buzz among football fans nationwide. While the No. 1 pick seems locked up, everything after that is seemingly a crapshoot. Jayden Daniels, Drake Maye and J.J. McCarthy are all shooting up draft boards, but nobody will know where they'll land until Thursday night.

As is the case nearly every year, many teams inside of the Top 10 are quarterback-needy. There could be as many as five signal callers taken with the first 10 selections; which teams take which players is a different story altogether. Let's take a look at where oddsmakers have specific quarterbacks landing to try and predict their draft spots.

Which team will select Jayden Daniels in the 2024 NFL Draft?

It's been a wild week for the draft odds near the top. It appeared last week that LSU's Daniels was the runaway favorite to be picked No. 2. However, some strong odds movements have Maye and McCarthy in the mix now.

Daniels (-160) is still the favorite to be taken in that spot. He's got the same odds to go to the Washington Commanders too, who hold the second overall pick. Meanwhile, Maye (+150) and McCarthy (+800) are plus-money to hear their names called before Daniels does on Thursday.

The latter's line continues to plummet amid unconfirmed reports that the Commanders love the Michigan prospect. Washington has the seventh-best odds to take McCarthy at +1400, though. Sportsbooks are showing here that they aren't buying into social media hype.

If Maye — who is the betting favorite to be taken at No. 3 (-145) — does jump Daniels, oddsmakers don't seem to believe the Heisman Trophy winner will slip too far. The New England Patriots (+155) are the only other team with shorter than 5/1 odds to land Daniels.

The 23-year-old is such a heavy favorite to be taken within the Top 5 that sportsbooks have taken his juiced odds off the board completely. He and Caleb Williams are the only names not to appear here, as is the case with their over/under totals regarding draft positions.

It seems the Commanders and Patriots are the only two teams in for Daniels, barring a shocking turn of events on draft night. Will he be taken second or third on Thursday night? The only thing left to do is wait and find out.

The 2024 NFL Draft kicks off on Thursday, April 25, 2024, from Detroit, Michigan. ABC, ESPN and NFL Network will carry the national broadcasts starting at 7 p.m. CT.
