BTS' RM to release 2nd solo album next month
SEOUL, April 26 (Yonhap) -- RM of K-pop supergroup BTS will drop his second individual album next month, the group's agency said Friday.
The album, titled "Right Place, Wrong Person," will hit various music services at 1 p.m. on May 24 (Korean time), BigHit Music said.
It would mark the first release from the BTS leader since his first official solo album "Indigo" in December 2022.
The upcoming album captures moments when the rapper feels like a "stranger who does not fit in certain places," according to the agency.
It added the 11-track album will feature alternative genre music with rich sounds, and RM has contributed as a lyricist for all the tracks.
BigHit highlighted the album will showcase RM's unique artistic colors, distinct from BTS' group albums, focusing on his true identity as a solo artist.
All members of the K-pop septet are currently fulfilling their military duty with Jin, the oldest, being the first to enlist in December 2022.
J-Hope followed in April of the following year, with RM, V, Jimin and Jungkook enlisting in December. Suga has been serving as a social service agent, an alternative form of military service in the country, since September.
