Moorhead To Hold Simulated Chemical Leak Training

MOORHEAD, Minn. (KVRR) — If you’re in Moorhead on Thursday and Friday you might see crews responding to a simulated chemical leak.

Moorhead Public Service and Moorhead Fire Department are conducting the emergency response training.

There will be a series of practice responses by Moorhead Fire Department’s HAZMAT Team.

The training exercise is set to start at 9 a.m. both days and is expected to last for two hours.

The purpose is to enhance emergency response and ensure personnel are fully prepared to handle an emergency scenario.
