SANTA CLARITA — A man’s body was found Wednesday morning behind an elementary school in Santa Clarita, and an investigation was underway.
The body was discovered about 7 a.m. at a park behind Charles Helmers Elementary School on the 27300 block of Grandview Drive, just east of McBean Parkway, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
A gun also was found at the scene, the sheriff’s department reported.
Information was not immediately available on the man’s identity or cause of death.
