Has someone just used the massively popular phrase meant to insult no other than Russian President Vladimir Putin to sent Warren Buffett some Bitcoin (BTC)?

The dinner between Tron‘s Justin Sun and billionaire crypto-sceptic Warren Buffett has been the talk of the town since it was first set to happen back in July 2019, finally occurring in late January this year.

As you may know, Sun claims he gave Buffett 1 BTC and 1,930,830 TRX as a gift, which, as we discussed just today, Buffett denied holding. Ironically, there were people following the event sending more crypto to this billionaire who claims he will never own what he considers worthless and useless assets, on top of the initial gifted sum. Along with the additional crypto sent to Buffett, he now owns BTC 1.01519228 from 25 transactions) and TRX 1,931,306.395 TRX (from 180 transactions), in total USD 46,838 worth of crypto.

One of the people who has sent some satoshis to Buffett used this address to do so: 1PutinHuj28G1Bc1WvFb9WxEKAKUDPUNEg

Now, the large majority of us might recognize “Putin” there and, sure, it’s funny on its own, but there’s more. It actually contains the phrase “Putin huj,” which sounds like a Russian phrase “Путин – хуй” (“Putin is a dick”). The phrase got traction after Russia annexed the Crimean Peninsula in 2014 and is also used by those who are not happy with this leader.

Today, it’s also used for a Bitcoin address, and one sending to Warren Buffett no less. This specific address sent satoshis to Buffett 2 times, on February 7 and February 9, in total BTC 0.00053617 (USD 5.09). However, there are three more addresses with “Putin” or “Putin Huj” in them, sending altogether five transactions worth BTC 0.00050544 (USD 4.8). The first above-mentioned address has 57 transactions in total, while other three have less than 10. Neither has any balance currently.

The address seems to be a Bitcoin Vanity address that starts with a certain set of characters.
