The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Tuesday, May 30, teases that Christine Blair (Lauralee Bell) will meet with Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) at Society to let him know there’s been a development in Phyllis Summers’ (Michelle Stafford) murder case.
At the Abbott house, Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) will be going stir crazy after being stuck on house arrest for so long. That’ll leave Diane tempted to just bolt right out the door.
However, Diane will ultimately assure Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) that she won’t jeopardize her freedom by leaving the premises.
At Crimson Lights, Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) will bicker with Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Graziadei) until Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) appears with updates on the new Phyllis survival proof.
Summer will assume this means Diane will walk free and will snap at Daniel since it’s what he wanted.
Chance will also mention that Christine is determined to find Phyllis and make her pay. According to Chance, Phyllis will be the poster girl for what happens to the rich and powerful when they bend the law.
Summer will be desperate to help Phyllis avoid an extended prison stay, but Chance will think the best thing Phyllis can do is come home and make a statement.
Back at the Abbott house, Michael will join Christine since he’ll want to see Diane’s face when she hears the big news.
Christine will admit that Diane has been cleared of all charges based on the prints and DNA evidence found on the memorial program.
Y&R spoilers say Diane will be ecstatic along with Jack and Kyle.
Chance will show up and remove Diane’s ankle monitor, so she’ll be even more excited once it’s finally gone.
After Christine apologizes to Diane and confirms that Phyllis will be prosecuted, Kyle will realize he needs to track Summer down and fill her in.
Diane will mention spotting Summer with a charity donation earlier, so Kyle will hope maybe he can catch up with her.
Once Diane is alone with Jack, they’ll make plans for a night on the town and will want to talk about their imminent wedding, too.
At the coffeehouse again, Summer will continue to argue with Daniel since he blabbed to Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) and can’t seem to keep a secret.
Daniel will pick up on how Summer seems to know what Phyllis is thinking, so he’ll demand to know if she’s been back in touch with their mom or if she knows where Phyllis is.
Summer will try to deny it at first, but she’ll eventually confess that she indeed knows where Phyllis is now.
Of course, Summer will refuse to tell Daniel since she won’t think he’s been helpful so far.
After Summer pushes Daniel to back off and let her handle this, Kyle will arrive and wonder what’s going on since their fight looked intense.
Meanwhile, Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) will secretly meet with Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) in her GCAC suite, so she’ll hear about his breakfast with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) going well.
Once Nate points out that Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) could still be a problem, he’ll plan to handle it – though he’ll hint about needing Audra’s help.
At Sharon Rosales’ (Sharon Case) house, she’ll take a call from Nick and hope that maybe all the Cameron Kirsten (Linden Ashby) warning signs are just desperate acts from a man behind bars.
Nick will still want Sharon to be on guard until they hear back from Chance, who’ll later get a call of his own at Society.
Chance will find out some news about Cameron and seem intrigued.
When Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) overhears Nick talking to Sharon about Cameron’s possible release, she’ll push her son for answers that he doesn’t have yet.
Back at Sharon’s place, she’ll hear someone at the door and pick up a fireplace poker to defend herself.
It’ll turn out to be Faith Newman (Reylynn Caster) back from college with a cat named Borgnine, so Sharon will put down her weapon and realize it was a false alarm.
Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) and Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) will bring Aria Porter-Copeland (Maddie and Millie Ingle) over to meet Faith, who’ll immediately adore her new niece.
Nick will also join Faith’s mini welcome home party and will joke about Noah Newman (Rory Gibson) getting tired of waiting on her.
That’ll lead to some talk about Noah opening a Glam Club in the U.K. and Allie Nguyen (Kelsey Wang) going to work at the Jabot lab in Paris.
Sharon will be careful not to mention anything about Cameron that might ruin the mood or spark concern.
Another special delivery will be left outside the door, but Nick will distract Mariah, Tessa and Faith as best as he can.
Sharon will seem on edge once she realizes Cameron has sent her a cigar box and a matchbook as reminders of the past.
At the GCAC, Cameron will look at a picture of Sharon on his tablet and down some booze.
Since no one has welcomed Cameron back to Genoa City yet, Cameron will look in the mirror and do it himself.
Cameron will later flash back to a menacing conversation with Sharon where he threatened her and will light up a cigar as prepares to get revenge.
