The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Thursday, June 1, reveals that Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) asked if Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) thought he really had a shot with Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang), so Taylor insisted he wouldn’t know unless he tried.
Taylor was sick of hearing how Brooke and Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) were “destiny” and said she wouldn’t deny her own feelings for him.
It wasn’t that long ago that Taylor was in a wedding dress ready to marry Ridge, but she acknowledged that didn’t turn out well.
However, Taylor pointed out that she’d always love Ridge like Deacon would always love Brooke.
After Taylor said Deacon spent a lot of his life being the villain, she urged him to imagine what it’d be like to become the hero.
Taylor told Deacon to call Brooke, tell her how he felt and see what happened. Deacon was also pressured to do it today, so Taylor left him with a lot to think about.
At Forrester Creations, Brooke showed Ridge how to like and comment on RJ Forrester’s (Joshua Hoffman) post and touched his hand tenderly as she gave his phone back.
Ridge seemed deep in thought before eventually admitting he learned something while he was gone.
Being away from Brooke was hard, so Ridge said he never wanted to do that again.
Although Ridge respected Brooke’s pact with Taylor, he said he really missed her and suggested it was tough being in the penalty box.
Brooke insisted the pact wasn’t meant to punish Ridge and hinted about a war almost breaking out again with Taylor.
Ridge worried he was the reason why, but Brooke clarified that it was about their children.
After Brooke said she had every intention of keeping her pact with Taylor, she added that she really did miss Ridge and touched his jacket playfully.
In the design office on Thursday’s B&B episode, Katie Logan (Heather Tom) kissed Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) and was impressed over him speaking Italian on the phone.
Katie was also hopeful about the idea of Brooke and Ridge reconnecting in Rome.
Carter admitted that’d bring an epic moment, but then Ridge and Brooke would have to return to Taylor’s backlash in LA.
Later, Taylor arrived at Forrester Creations and learned Deacon summoned Brooke to Il Giardino to discuss something very important.
Ridge hoped Deacon wasn’t asking for money and said they’d have a problem if this was about a loan. Taylor didn’t think that was it since Il Giardino was doing well under Deacon’s ownership.
The conversation shifted to Deacon’s scandalous past with Brooke, but Taylor said something good came out of it since Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) was born.
Taylor reflected on how kids can bind people together, but she also felt that Ridge was a significant part of her life long before the kids came along.
That led to Taylor bringing up all the memories she shared with Ridge.
At Il Giardino again, Deacon had a steamy flashback from his history with Brooke, who picked up on his nervousness when she arrived.
Deacon sat Brooke down to make a big speech about how she inspired him to be a better man.
Although Brooke had vowed not to pursue Ridge, Deacon pointed out that she hadn’t sworn off all men.
Deacon thought maybe this could be their time and their chance to find their way back together.
Once Deacon insisted Brooke helped him make better choices, he said he loved her more than anyone or anything and begged her to come back to him.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Brooke will soon get updates on who’s behind Deacon’s push for couple status, so that’ll lead to bad news for her friendship with Taylor.
