Actors Boyd Holbrook (Narcos) and Shaunette Renée Wilson (The Resident) have joined the growing cast of the highly-anticipated fifth Indiana Jones movie, which doesn't yet have a title. News of Harrison Ford's new co-stars was first reported by Deadline.

Holbrook and Wilson join Fleabag creator Phoebe Waller-Bridge and Mads Mikkelsen (Another Round) in what's shaping up to be an impressive ensemble. While plot details are scarce to the point of being non-existent, Mikkelsen said in a recent interview that the script is "everything [he] wished it to be" and is "great." We will have to take his word for it now--the only other insight into the movie and the cast is Mikkelsen's further elaboration that he might be playing a character who is meant to function as "straight man" opposite Indiana Jones, while also providing some "larger-than-life" levity.

Indiana Jones 5 will be directed by James Mangold (Logan) and hits theaters on July 29, 2022. Steven Spielberg, who directed all the previous films, stepped down, with Mangold taking over in May 2020. John Williams is coming back to write the music.

Things are progressing quickly for the movie, which fans have been waiting for since 2008's polarizing The Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. Last summer, it was announced that writing had only "just started" on Indiana Jones 5, and that Spielberg was reducing his role to only serve as a producer. All we know is that this movie will be a "continuation" of the series, and not function as a reboot.
