Amazon's second day of Prime Day deals is coming to a close today (Wednesday, October 11), which means the best bargains on everything from tech and gadgets, to air fryers and running shoes will be running out. But that doesn't mean you can't still snag a great bargain.

At the time of writing there are still plenty of deals to be had, just check out our Prime Day deals live blog, which has a collection of the best and current deals from what Amazon is calling its Prime Big Deals Days sale.

If you miss the deals this time around, then don't despair as we're getting ever-closer to the Black Friday deals, which no longer run over a few days but more like some six week or so. And it's worth remembering that even when Prime Day 2 comes to a close Amazon will still have some deals around that will be worth a look at. So keep your eyes on TechRadar as we'll aim to flag some of the best ones that we see.

For now here's when the second Amazon Prime Day of 2023 will end in the UK and US.

What time does Prime Day 2023 end?

For bargain hunters in the US and UK, the second Amazon Prime Day of 2023/Prime Big Deals Days ends at the following times:

  • 11.59pm on Wednesday, October 11
  • 2.59am EDT on Thursday, October 12
  • 11.59am BST on Wednesday, October 11

And how long do Prime Day deals last?

This isn't the easiest question to answer as we tend to see deals slow down or end in certain categories, like Amazon Fire and Echo devices, but continue on in other areas, such as TVs and computers.

Conventional wisdom says that if you see a good deal on something you really want, go for it. Waiting around for the very cheapest price could see you miss a bargain. Equally, we endeavour to flag the best deals from the duds.

And with Black Friday on the horizon, you can expect to see compelling deals on Amazon even after Prime Day 2/Prime Big Deals Days comes to an end. So it's worth keeping an eye on TechRadar, as we'll be tracking the best deals to get across a range of categories as we near Black Friday.

As for the rest of this October Prime Day we suggest you keep an eye out for the following deals:

Lightning deals
Lightning deals are super-fast deals that drop in and drop out of stock very quickly. But they are the place to go to score a bargain, especially if you're already an Amazon Prime member as you get 30 minutes of early access.

To get the most out of these deals you'll need a Prime membership. If you’re not already a member, you can still take part with a free 30-day trial of Prime

Deals under $25/£15
Pretty self-explanatory, these are deals below a certain amount and offer a way to snag a bargain or make an off-the-cuff purchase on a cheap device or product. These deals are great for grabbing things like supplements, everyday essentials or underwear at attractive prices.
