Couples looking for a romantic escape this Valentine’s Day will find one of America’s best in western Massachusetts, according to Time Out.

The publication released a list of the best romantic getaways in the U.S. for couples and included the Berkshires.

“Boasting more than 100 world class cultural attractions, superior outdoor recreation, and a famous farm-to-table food scene, the Berkshires promises an unforgettable experience,” according to Berkshires.org.

Here is what Time Out wrote about the region:

The Berkshires aren’t just one town but a collection of several that are quaint and charming in their way. Start with Lenox, a scenic and lush town once the home of writer Edith Wharton, and Stockbridge, a town bursting with Norman Rockwell-inspired streets. There’s also North Adams, replete with picturesque churches, and Williamstown, surrounded by mountains and farmland. Stroll together hand-in-hand along the historic downtown streets, hit a hiking trail, and relax together in a B&B: there’s romance here no matter where your days (and nights) take you.

The Points Guy recently named Canyon Ranch in Lenox among the best romantic Valentine’s Day hotel packages in the world.

Other destinations on the Time Out list include Sonoma County in California, New Orleans, and Savannah, Georgia.
