Bill Belichick’s girlfriend makes Instagram private after Tom Brady comments

Linda Holliday has left the chat.

The girlfriend of Patriots coach Bill Belichick made her Instagram account private following messages received from online “trolls” over comments she made about Tom Brady.

“My account will be going private in the next few hours,” Holliday posted, according to a screenshot from TMZ.

“I am exhausted by the number of trolls and cruel people who have hammered my social media accounts recently. I’m not ’embarrassed’ by anything I’ve said.”

Holliday previously fired back at a critic who said, “Too bad Bill let Tom go,” in one of her posts.

“And you have all the answers evidently?” she said at the time. “Tom didn’t score last night… not once! Defense won that game. Were you even watching? OTOH (on the other hand) — I’m happy for Tom’s career! Why can’t you be?”

Last year, Brady left Belichick and the Patriots in free agency amid rumors of discord. He signed a two-year deal with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Brady stamped his ticket to this Sunday’s NFC Championship game after defeating Drew Brees and the New Orleans Saints in the Divisional Round of the NFL playoffs last weekend.

The 43-year-old quarterback had two touchdowns and zero interceptions, while the Buccaneers defense intercepted the 42-year-old Brees three times.

Holliday recently added that she is “tired of trolls” and is focused on “staying connected” with friends.

“I’m not sure when it became ok to verbally abuse and harass people on social media,” she said. “I look forward to staying connected with my personal friends.”
