They can put it off until July and force Microsoft's hand, Microsoft can't wait forever either. They don't want to interrupt things going on with Naughty Dog and the Last of Us Part II, but they'll happily step all over Sucker Punch and kill off their investment in Ghost of Tsushima, better game than The Last of Us Part II anyway.

Sony need to reveal the console and the price of the console at this event just to get it all over with for I can preorder my ps5 already.

well it was going to be ready for today, so really, it could be any day they they feel is less sensitive. if they wait till the protests are over, it could be months away.

june is the month of e3 and its always so exciting to me .this year its one of my best junes though we dont have e3 but its full of games news .its a great june

I'm surprised they haven't set a date for after TLOU2 launch. Revealing the ps5 will just overshadow its release.

If they postponed the event due to protests in the USA then they need to wait until the protests are over or the postponement will not make sense.

June 10 is the absolute latest just before the TLOU2 embargo otherwise it's a bust until July.

might as well just cancel it. somewhere in the world something awful happens every single day. 150,000 people die daily. If you need to delay every day waiting for that perfect sunny day, you are going to miss every opportunity that comes your way.

Sony just can't afford to wait long as there is always the possibility of PS5 photos leaking from the factories. That's not how they want to present the console to the world.

My hype died because of all the waiting. I really don’t like their strategy at all, they want us to buy their console but now it’s less than 6 month and we haven’t even seen the console yet.

I'm starting to lose interest tbh. Sure I'll no doubt buy the console but this is as bad as revealing release dates for movie trailers.

I wonder if this slight delay will allow some other games to be added to the "show". Because if the delay is another 2 weeks maybe that game that wasn't able to get a trailer ready to show 2 weeks ago can be ready now. Although it was a delay, I doesn't phase me much because I still can't play the damn thing until November lol. Until then, i'll just have to settle for my PS5 inspired PC build :(
