How (and when) kids can fly for free from Boston to Sweden, Norway, Denmark, and Finland
Scandinavian Airlines is offering a deal for flights booked by Sept. 27.
Would your kids love to visit Frozen’s homeland of Norway? Or how about Junibacken, a children’s playground and storybook museum in Stockholm, Sweden?
Thanks to a Scandinavian Airlines deal beginning today, families can save money for a limited time on airfare from Boston to a few Nordic countries.
Kids younger than 11 can fly for free to Sweden, Norway, Denmark, and Finland when accompanied by an adult during travel between Nov. 1 and Dec. 1, 2019, or Jan. 8 to March 24, 2020, according to the airline. The tickets must be booked by Sept. 27.
The deal is valid from the airline’s seven departure locations across the U.S.: Boston, New York, Miami, Washington, D.C., Chicago, San Francisco, and Los Angeles, according to the carrier. Kids will also fly green as part of the company’s CO2 Youth Offset Program.
Although the child’s base airfare is free, taxes and fees are still applicable.
