Antonio Brown mic’d up: Patriots keep hyping receiver

Despite Antonio Brown being accused of rape in a civil lawsuit, the New England Patriots keep hyping their new receiver.

The team posted a video on its official Twitter account Wednesday morning of sights and sounds from its Sunday win over the Miami Dolphins, and it includes a mic’d-up Brown celebrating with quarterback Tom Brady after the two connected for a touchdown in Brown’s Patriots debut.

“I love you, baby! Great throw!” Brown said to Brady as the two hugged after the touchdown. The video then showed the pair exchanging a handshake on the sideline.

Brown caught four passes for 56 yards on Sunday, all coming in the first half. He did not speak to reporters after the game; his nameplate was removed and locker cleaned out by the time media were allowed in the locker room.

Brown’s accuser, Britney Taylor, met with the NFL on Monday for 10 hours as part of the league’s investigation. NFL Network reports there was no change in his status as of Wednesday morning, meaning the 31-year-old will play his first home game with the Patriots this Sunday when they play host to the Jets.
