The Doha-based airline called Wednesday “a bumper day of flight resumptions,” with 11 reinstated destinations worldwide as the demand for air travel continues to increase after COVID-19 devastated the industry.

“Qatar Airways continues to work closely with governments around the world to resume commercial flights in line with entry restrictions,” company officials said in a statement.

Qatar plans to resume almost two-thirds of its pre-COVID-19 network by the end of the month, according to a press release. The airline said it will offer more than 430 weekly flights to more than 65 destinations by mid-July.

Destinations added back to the airline’s network Wednesday include Boston, Los Angeles, and Washington, D.C., as well as numerous international destinations.

Qatar is offering five weekly flights at Logan International Airport, which will increase to daily flights on August 1, according to the airline.

Qatar passengers can change their destination as often as needed as long as the new destination falls within 5,000 miles of the original destination. The airline will not charge fare differences for travel completed before Dec. 31, 2020.
