Watch boxer Robeisy Ramirez knock the snot out of Adan Gonzales — literally

He got the snot knocked out of him.

In a Thursday promotional bout in Las Vegas, boxer Adan Gonzales was hit so hard by opponent Cuban featherweight Robeisy Ramirez that the salty contents of his nasal passages spewed all over his face.

The snot seen around the world helped earn Ramirez, 26, a six-round decision and sweet revenge against Gonzales, 23, who upset the southpaw during his professional debut last August. Ramirez is a two-time Olympic gold medal winner.

“I wanted to put our first fight behind me, and I did that,” Ramirez said of the fight at the MGM Grand Conference Center. “Ever since our first fight, I wanted the rematch. I am glad this chapter of my career is behind me now.”

Ramirez, whose pro record improved to four and one, told ESPN that his pro turnaround can be attributed to new trainer Ismael Salas.

“A couple more rounds, and I could’ve scored the knockout. I’ll take the win and continue to work hard on my craft. I have the best trainer in Ismael Salas.”
