Brie Larson Reveals All The Big Roles She Auditioned For & Lost Out On

Brie Larson is looking back on all the major roles that she could have had.

In a video on her new YouTube channel, the 30-year-old Oscar winner opened up about the famous roles she had auditioned for but didn’t end up getting – including ones in Star Wars and The Hunger Games.

“I auditioned for Star Wars,” Brie recalled said. “I auditioned for Hunger Games. I auditioned for the Terminator reboot.”

She added, “I actually was thinking about the Terminator reboot today because I got a flat tire and I was like, ‘Oh the last time I got a flat tire was when I was driving into my audition for Terminator, got a flat tire at the audition, and then didn’t get the job.”

Brie did go on to win an Oscar for her role in Room, and just recently joined the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Captain Marvel, which helped her combat her anxiety.

She also talked about playing the superhero, saying that it “kind of wiped clean those titles I had for myself and made me go, ‘Whoa, I’m not really that anymore.”

“So, from there I found that speaking out, telling my story, talking about things that I’m scared of, has just helped me so much,” Brie says.

In another video, Brie opened up about being part of that famous Kardashian selfie at the Met Gala.
