Epstein accuser Virginia Giuffre cried ‘tears of joy’ after Ghislane Maxwell’s arrest

Virginia Giuffre dissolved into tears after hearing of Ghislane Maxwell’s arrest, according to a report.
Giuffre, now 36, has accused Maxwell of procuring her for notorious pedophile Jeffrey Epstein when she was only a 16-year-old spa attendant at Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort.
“When I got the call [about Maxwell’s arrest], I was elated, crying tears of joy, laughing. … Finally, we got her,’’ she told The Weekend Australian.
It felt even better than when Jeffrey got arrested,” she said. “He was a pedophile, they cannot be cured. They either belong in jail or 6 feet under. Ghislaine, on the other hand, is an evil monster.”

Maxwell, Epstein’s former lover, now stands criminally accused of gathering underaged girls for sexual exploitation at the hands of him and other wealthy and famous men from across the globe.
“This woman found me, groomed me, abused me and handed me over to Jeffrey and his friends,” Giuffre told the paper.
She has said Maxwell and Epstein forced her to have sex with Prince Andrew when she was only 17 — a claim the royal has denied.

“Obviously, Prince Andrew is a liar,’’ Giuffre said. “He knows what he has done. … He is going to go to jail. He has already lost so much but that is not enough. Justice has to prevail. He has to be held accountable.’’
Manhattan federal prosecutors handling Maxwell’s case have said they want to speak to the fallen British royal in connection with the case.

Now married with kids and living in Australia, Giuffre said she hopes Maxwell’s bust will expose the men who took advantage of her and other young women.

“Maybe she will squeal and turn other people over, which is obviously what we hope because we want the truth out,” she said of Maxwell. “Or maybe she will stay quiet and do her time in jail. These people did a lot of damage to a lot of other people’s lives.

“We are not just talking about Tom, Dick and Jane down the street — we are talking about billionaires, the people that run the world.’’
Giuffre said Maxwell initially coaxed her into Epstein’s seemingly glamorous orbit by telling her he needed a massage therapist.
“This woman came off like Mary Poppins, like this really genuine nice lady, nicely dressed who wanted to help people get further in life,’’ she said.
While Maxwell met her at Trump’s Florida property, Giuffre said he never misbehaved with her.
“I met Trump, but I have never seen him doing anything towards me or towards any other victim of Jeffrey Epstein,” she said. “I can’t comment on what I don’t know.”
Maxwell faces up to 35 years in jail if convicted of trafficking underaged women.
