Hitman 3 VR announced for PSVR, coming January 2021

During today's PlayStation State of Play event, it was announced that Hitman 3 VR will launch for PSVR in January 2021.

The official State of Play trailer for Hitman 3 VR showed Agent 47 doing what he does best - walking up behind someone with a murder weapon and assassinating him like the professional he is. Except now, fans of IO Interactive's iconic assassin sim will be able to experience their contracts in virtual reality.

Check out the official Hitman 3 VR trailer below.

It's classic Hitman. You walk up to what looks like an extravagant ballroom, very casually, skin-headed and suited and booted, and all of a sudden you spot your target: a pompous man who walks into a back room. You know what you're here to do, and now, you can do all of it in virtual reality.

"Play the entire World of Assassination Trilogy in VR," reads the text at the end of the trailer.

Hitman 3 is launching for Xbox Series X, PS5, and PC in January 2021. According to today's State of Play, it's due to launch for PSVR at the same time.

It's not all Hitman, though. We also got news of a PS4 port for iconic indie platformer Braid, which is due to launch in early 2021. On top of that, it appears that popular Pokemon-esque MMO Temtem is on its way to PS5, and is due to launch in early 2021.

The show also included some fresh Godfall gameplay with an emphasis on combat, while the new Bugsnax gameplay is so much weirder than what we saw last time - and that's really saying a lot.

We also got a brand new look at Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time gameplay, and learned you can play through the entire game as Coco, if you fancy. You can also play as Dingodile, which is a bit weird but also interesting.
