An accused serial killer has been dubbed the “Thai Ted Bundy” after hundreds of human bones were found in his garden pond, stocked with hungry fish to gobble up the remains, according to reports.

Wealthy property heir Apichai Ongwisit, 40, initially was called the ”metal casket killer” because his 22-year-old girlfriend suffocated in a metal container he made her sleep in, according to the Sun.

He was arrested at his home in Bangkok after the skeleton of lover Warinthorn “Kuk-kik” Chaiyachet, 22, was found wrapped in a plastic bag and buried on his property, the Bangkok Post said.

Thai police then got a tip that at least two more women might have been thrown into his pond — and divers found 288 human bones in an initial search, the local paper said, with divers set to return.

Ongwisit was rumored to have filled the pond with alligator gars and other carnivorous fish to consume the corpses, although divers did not see any during the first search, the Bangkok Post said.

His case is now getting likened to Bundy, the Sun said, referring to the American serial killer who was executed in 1989 after killing more than 30 women and disposing of many of their remains.

Ongwisit — whose dad was jailed for killing a teen girl in 1993 — confessed to killing Chaiyachet, police told local media, and was charged with murdering her and concealing the body. Officers now hope to drain the pond after escalating reports of missing women, they said.

“The investigation has found several women who were involved [with] the culprit have disappeared. They include his friends, girlfriends and prostitutes,” said police colonel Jirakrit Jarunpat, according to the Sun.

“We have found 298 bone pieces in the pond so far but could not clarify how many humans those bones were from.”

He is the son of wealthy businessman Chalermchai Ongwisit, who had been arrested on charges of murdering and dismembering a 15-year-old girl in 1983, the Sun said

His mother, accused of masterminding the crime, subsequently fled abroad with his younger sister, while the dad was later shot dead, the UK paper said.
