Olympian Bode Miller & Wife Morgan Welcome Twin Boys After Daughter's Tragic Death

Bode Miller and his wife Morgan are now the proud parents of twins.

The 42-year-old former World Cup alpine ski racer and the 32-year-old professional beach volleyball player made the exciting announcement on Today on Tuesday (November 12).

“They finally arrived. They had us waiting and waiting and waiting. It was driving Morgan crazy,” Bode told the morning show host‘s over the phone during the program.

The two welcomed identical twin boys, and have not yet picked names. They also revealed that their midwives didn’t even make it to the house in time for the birth!

“By the time they got there, me and my mom were both holding the babies. Luckily, my mom was a midwife, but she hadn’t delivered babies in 20 plus years and she never delivered twins. We’re both pretty relaxed and pretty casual But we were certainly not qualified to be doing an unassisted home delivery of twins,” he went on to say.

“We’re still floating from the whole experience. It was just so amazing to have it go as spontaneously but as well as it did. And for Bode to get to deliver his identical twin boys with his mom…it was pure magic,” Morgan added.

A little over a year ago, their 19-month-old daughter Emeline “Emmy” Miller tragically died in a drowning accident. They then welcomed their son, Easton, four months later.
