Emma Stone & Brad Pitt in Talks to Star in Drama 'Babylon'!

Emma Stone and Brad Pitt might be co-starring in a new project!

The 31-year-old La La Land actress and the 55-year-old Once Upon a Time in Hollywood actor are in talks to star in the Damien Chazelle-directed Babylon, THR reported on Monday (November 11).

No deals have been set yet for the project. Damien previously directed Emma in the Academy Award-winning La La Land.

The story is “said to be set in the late 1920s, during the movie industry’s transition from silent films to talkies. The rise and fall of fictional and historical characters figure into the proceedings.”

Emma would play Clara Bow, and Brad would play a fictional silent film star who fails to make the transition to the new technology, reportedly based on real-life figure John Gilbert.

The film is set for a December 25, 2021 limited theatrical release before going wide on January 7, 2022.
