If you've found yourself in this situation, worry no more. I've made the quiz that'll tell you how Italian your tastebuds are, based on this hypothetical night of fine dining.

Let's settle in, pick a starter to quickly make:

There's no way you're full yet, let's order that main:

The food's taking a while, how do you pass the time?

It turns up, the order is wrong. How do you handle this common mishap?

With the ingredients in your kitchen, which one of these do you make instead?

At least your family haven't turned up. So let's relax with a drink:

The food you made isn't good. How do you cope?

There's a knock at the door. It's your family! They've brought food because they somehow knew you'd need it. What have they got?

An argument started at the table. What's it about?

Someone's uncle managed to avoid the argument. What's he watching what on TV?

Someone mentions that they're on a meat-free diet. What is the reaction?

Your house is their house now. How are you coping by the way?

At least desert is here! What is it?

And finally, which relative hands you more food for no apparent reason?

You're calm, stress-free, and all coffee tastes the same to you. Meals must be easy in your household – you follow simple recipes and when it's done, and I bet there are no arguments over the dinner table!

Your Italian tastebuds lay dormant, for now

You've noticed yourself doing the occasional hand gesture when you argue about food. Perhaps you've even done the odd Duolingo lesson to learn how an Italian dish is pronounced. Pretty soon you'll be making your own pizza dough!

Your Italian tastebuds are starting to activate

Some would say you use too much olive oil drink coffee after coffee. You've begun to passionately crave arguments about food just as much as wanting the food itself. Oh, and everyone _else_ is terrible at cooking the food you love!

If you look closely, you'll see your tastebuds gesturing

Your body is basically 70% olive oil. You're legitimately insulted if someone orders a takeaway pizza, and they better take the food you made for home with them if they can't finish it. Despite the oil, and the large quantities of meat, I bet you'll miraculously outlast _everyone_!
