Trump will bring up Biden’s ties to Ukraine at debate, adviser says

A senior adviser to the Trump campaign said on Monday that President Trump will not let it slide if Thursday’s debate moderator NBC News’ Kristen Welker fails to question Joe Biden about his son Hunter Biden’s business dealings in Ukraine that were exposed by The Post last week.

“If Kristen Welker, the moderator, doesn’t bring it up, I think you’re pretty safe to assume that the president will. Again, these are real simple questions,” Jason Miller said on Fox Business’ “Mornings with Maria.”

The final presidential debate is scheduled for Thursday evening in Nashville.

Miller said revelations made in the Post report regarding the Bidens’ deals in Ukraine show the Democratic nominee “is compromised.”

Other emails allege that the elder Biden stood to profit off his son’s relationship with a Chinese energy company.

“Joe Biden has now dodged this multiple times. Are you the ‘big guy?’ Are you the ‘chairman?’ Is Hunter Biden handling family expenses and setting aside money for you?” Miller said on the program.

Reference to the “big guy” was included in an email discussing remuneration packages for a deal Hunter Biden was forging with Chinese energy company CEFC.

The email outlined a “provisional agreement” under which 80 percent of the “equity,” or shares in the new company, would be split equally among four people whose initials correspond to the sender and three recipients, with “H” apparently referring to Hunter Biden.

The deal also listed “10 Jim” and “10 held by H for the big guy?”

“The big guy” refers to the elder Biden, sources have told Fox News.

The emails were found on the hard drive of a laptop Hunter Biden dropped off at a Wilmington, Del., computer repair shop in April 2019 and never picked up.

Trump on Sunday called the emails the “REAL DEAL” that cannot be denied.

“Hunter Biden’s laptop is a disaster for the entire Biden family, but especially for his father, Joe. It is now a proven fact, and cannot be denied, that all of that info is the REAL DEAL,” the president wrote on Twitter, adding that he was proud of his “former hometown newspaper” for breaking the story.

Biden has not commented on the story but his campaign said his tax returns, which were made public, show that he was not involved with Chinese investments.
