Seton Hill softball wins Atlantic Region title
It was a super Saturday for Seton Hill.
The softball team took another step toward its first national championship by advancing to the NCAA Division II Atlantic Super Regional for the first time.
The Griffins left little doubt that they belonged in the next round of the postseason. They dusted Claflin, 11-0, to win the Atlantic Region title at Shippensburg’s Robb Field.
Freshman pitcher Chloe Elliott won her 13th game of the season, grad student Jenna Osikowicz had two hits and two runs scored and grad student Morgan Ryan drove in three runs.

The Griffins (39-10) will play Kutztown (40-13) in the first game of the Super Regional next week at a time, date and site to be announced.
Seton Hill scored seven times in the seventh to add to its cushion.
Grad student Nichole McClendon, senior Morgan Toal and freshman Grace Paredes also had two hits each.
